About one village media

WHERE IT STARTED
The concept of One Village Media began with owner Ashleigh D’Addezio noticing a startlingly high number of businesses not utilizing their social media platforms effectively. Through talking to various business owners, she discovered that some had no time, some did not have the expertise, and others simply didn’t realize the value it could bring to their bottom line. From this she developed a company whose purpose would be to offer marketing services to companies who need the convenience of outsourcing but want the finesse of someone who can preserve their authentic voice.
Throughout 2006 to 2018, Ashleigh was heavily involved in the nonprofit sector, ardently using her passion for helping animals, people, and the communities they live in to fuel her work. As with most nonprofits, the roles she held were typically combinations of several jobs to preserve funding. For 13 years she wore many hats which enabled her to gain a variety of skills in social media management, marketing, graphic design, and customer service.
"The World of Social Media is Fast Paced & Constantly Changing."
At the beginning of 2019, Ashleigh felt as though she had served the nonprofit sector to the best of her ability and decided to start her own marketing company, One Village Media. The world of social media is fast paced and constantly changing. She stays up to date on her industry by watching webinars, attending classes and conferences, reading books, listening to podcasts and subscribing to newsletters put out by the top social media management companies. She is very ambitious in all that she does to help her clients and their businesses to succeed, and has been told on more than one occasion that she tends to “rock the boat” with innovative ideas.
Ashleigh enjoys continuing her nonprofit work by serving on the boards of East St. Tammany Business Alliance as Secretary, Krewe de Paws of Olde Towne as Vice President, and Animal Assistance League of Slidell.
